Calcium Boluses-1

Support Fresh Cows with RumiLife® CAL24™

After calving, fresh cows experience a significant drop in blood calcium levels, putting them at risk for hypocalcemia, reduced feed intake, and poor transition health. Boosting calcium levels with RumiLife CAL24 calcium boluses is the best way to mitigate these risks, alleviate costly fresh cow issues, and help your cows transition smoothly into their lactation.

Low Calcium Risks

Low Calcium Means Lower Milk & Higher Health Risks

Subclinical hypocalcemia, also known as milk fever, can be difficult to detect due to the lack of visible signs, but it's there. It can affect as many as half of your cows in their second and greater lactations, and it increases their risk of costly health issues like mastitis, reproductive challenges, and displaced abomasum.

Being proactive by using RumiLife® CAL24™ calcium boluses on your cows at freshening is a proven solution to help prevent subclinical hypocalcemia.

Subclinical Milk Fever

50% of your mature cows likely experience subclinical milk fever after freshening.

Subclinical Milk Fever Costs

One case of subclinical milk fever can cost you $125–four times more than the clinical cases in your herd.

Health Issues

Cows that experience subclinical milk fever are more prone to other health issues.
